London TVR vs TVR Barnet????

Anyone use these guys for servicing and are they any good? How competitive are they on the price front?

Just wondering as London TVR is my nearest dealer, however TVR Barnet is only a couple of miles further up the road so any recommendations are welcome.

TVR Barnet lads are top blokes. Would recommend them any time. Can probably find cheaper servicing but I know they'll look after me there.

Tvr barnet all the way, since Martin and Mark have taken over it,s a much more professional and informall and friendler place, and if you phone up and book a service and call Martin a Pikey! you get 10% off......... ..........

How are they with the older Tivs - S/Wedge etc?

Tvr Barnet serviced my wedge with no problems at all in fact one of there machanics specalizes in the older stuff like wedeges and S series even earlier models,

Not sure but i think Tvr London have lost there francise?

Tvr Centre have serviced both my S and now my Chimaera and would echo all the positive comments made. I trust them with my P+J. Say no more.

London who? The lads at the TVR Centre are fantastic, nothing seems to be a problem. From my dealings with the mechanics and seeing all models there at some stage they have the experience to repair all, including non TVR...I believe one of the fellows is a BMW specialist as well.

I have used other workshops but now all my repairs are done at Barnet.

Barnet all the way have had excellent service cant recomend them enough
realy friendly and you can talk to who ever worked on your car and discuss what was done etc, top blokes. As for london tvr i went in there when i was looking for a tuscan must admit i didnt look my best as i got out my work van ,was talking to one of their mechanics when some bod in a suit(nothing against suit wearers ) came out and said in a very arrogant tone snapped "can i help you" he may have just said f**k off cos he didnt want to talk about what i was there for any way i bought some where else there loss.

So it seems that TVR Barnet gets the thumbs up all round. I'll give 'em a call. I'd still be interested on people's experiences with London TVR though....offline of course.

Another vote for Barnet here. They have serviced my previous 400SE wedges and 450 Chimaera, they also have my 450 SEAC down there as we speak.

Great lads, Martin/Phil, Lee...

Some have said that they are a bit pricy, but i think you get what you pay for. They look after your P&J like it's their own.

I used London TVR to get my Tuscan inspected before I bought it. They were very reasonable - only charged me an hour's labour and took the car in same day. I had no complaints and was happy with the Service.

Since purchase I have been using TVR Centre in Barent as it is nearer my home. I echo what everyone else has said. They are are great bunch and Martin and Phil in particular look after their service dept customers. I highly recommend them.

They service my modified M series without any issues. They have even picked the car up from my house a few times (blown gearbox and a dead fuel system).
