Surely it should all be done before the start of the season? Several teams' starts to the season have been badly compromised by players holding out for deals eg. Berbatov.

It looks like a st system that needs to be revised.

I can't see any of the other London teams lobbying UEFA for that one biggrin

Apparently Platini is looking to change the transfer window deadline to the end of July for these reasons.
