I was trawling the archives looking for a link and stumbled across the 'Alonso to where: the definitive post' thread and, while most of us were claiming he'd stay at McLaren or making up wild marketing strategies regarding Lexus and Williams, one person hit the nail straight on the head.

I thought some props were in order, so Gruffy please take a bow and accept my polite applause.
