Older viewers may recall the 70's Jackie Stewart Formula Finesse where they would put a bowl on the bonnet of a Cortina Mk III with a loose tennis ball in it. The idea was to drive the car smoothly without losing the tennis ball. Perhaps this is what Renault have in mind with that bonnet?

Why have cars gone from this rounded look back to a sharp angled style... I blame the BMW 1-series.

If its anything to go by the last Megane there will be NO rear leg room at all.

Couldn't agree more, bring back the curves! Is the designer from Australia? The nose on it looks like a duck-billed platypus
