If someone else has forked out the £1500 or more for a conversion to LPG on an otherwise sound car for sale at the right price then that's a bonus. Providing the system is a reputable one and it works reliabily in the long term then there's obviously savings to be made.
Frankly I'd be reluctant to put my own cash into a conversion because if Slugbrows
decides to increase the tax on LPG then the adventage is lost - and you're thousands out of pocket.
There are a number of differet systems available for the Jaguar V8. Arun Jaguar in west Sussex are advertising several cars for sale with cheapish LPG conversions added to the sale price, and there's also a company called Mugglestone who have ready converted cars for sale advertising in the JEC magazine.
Think about it 'tho. IMO it's a risk - £1500 buys a lot of petrol, or maybe a much better example of the car you want without an LPG conversion. Surely if LPG was such a good thing everybody would have thier car converted tomorrow - every manufacturer would offer a dual fuel conversion in the showroom and Toyota wouldn't be selling so many Piouses.
