Sticky stuff!

Hi all...OK I've repaired my outrigger (finally) and am starting to put everything back together. Can anyone recommend any readily available mastic to put between the sill section and body before I rivet it back on?

silicone does a nice job .

I was considering that, but the stuff which came out seemed a lot thicker and denser than any silicon that I've seen?

Black SIKAFLEX! available at all good motor factors but not Halfruads IIRC.
