got the chance of a MY2000 with the prodrive kit fiited from new, what sort of horse power would these be pushing out?
anyone know the performance figures?

My mate's MY2000 with the prodrive kit was pushing out about 235-240bhp IIRC - can't remember the torque figure though. The later cars get about 260bhp with the prodrive kit.

I loved that car - with the prodrive kit it was amazing. Drove it before and after - the kit was £1600 fitted at Subaru, but well worth it!

Find yourself a non-prodrive MY2000 with at least a decat uppipe, high flow flat panel air filter and Snorkus mod (or get them done yourself for not a lot of money), and get it mapped properly by one of a gaggle of top tuners depending on what part of the country you're in.

Forget the prodrive bit as you are paying a lot more for a car that already comes with a tune that really isn't worth the extra at all. Aftermarket tuners do a much better job and will give you much more useable bang per buck and that way you will get your money's worth. Save your pennies and buy much cheaper without the Prodrive kit.

Just don't forget to run the car on nothing but Tesco 99RON or Shell V-Power. Nothing else in the UK will do and you won't need to run octane boosters!! Get the car serviced by a professional Subaru specialist and do an oil and filter change in-between services.

Get an aftermarket tune and you will be seeing Prodrive tuned scoobies as little specs in your rear view mirror!!
