One month review

So, after not a very successful first few wks with various expensive things going wrong, ie clutch, slave cylinder, starter motor, oil sensor.

I have finally got my car sorted thanks to David Hendry in Malmsbury.

The car goes like a dream, gear change is silky smooth, I have left the sports exhaust on, as i cant bear to get rid of that lovely burble on over run.

I have used the car every day in all weathers mainly rain and i am surprised just how easy it is to drive, i also have a new 911 which i am going to sell as i am not driving that at all, it just dosnt compare in sheer grin factor, yes its a great car but after 20yrs of owning Porsches it is really refreshing to get back to basics and enjoy driving and not having everything done for you with electronic this and that.

So at present a big thumbs up.

Glad you're enjoying the new beast. That's a beautiful looking car. I too recently crossed over to a T350T from Porsche. Even though I still have the 911 it doesn't fire me up the way it used to.

David Hendry ordered the new cats in, but when they went to fit them there were some already fitted, so no. it still sounds the same, the wife has now gone in the car and thinks it is a little quieter, i havn't told her otherwise.

When is the next meet?

Hi Stephen, glad to read that your T350 is going well . Like the fact that you prefer the TVR to a 911 .

If you have some spare cash from the 911 sale, you might want to consider upgrading your air box and shocks on the T350. I can certainly recommend the ACT Carbon Fibre Air Tight Air box, and Nitron shocks with Eibach springs. The Nitrons are a 100% improvement on the road holding . The ACT air box improved the running of the engine and I'm sure it has made my JP sports exhaust a little quieter . I'm due to put my Tamora on a rolling road soon as I'm keen to find out what the bhp is now the engine is 4.0L, and I think there is a performance increase with the ACT box aswell .
