Scorpio Cosworth V6 BOA vs BOB
Discussion
I am wondering whether anyone can advise...
As far as I am aware, the difference between the two engines is the plenumb chamber? The latter BOB produces about 10 more bhp because of this. I have always been bemused/irritated by the size and weight of the BOA plenumb chamber which I have on my car (I guess the weight is there to dampen the engine vibrations?), so does anyone know if these parts are interchangeable. I guess the latter type is more efficient. My are is runnung an Emerald ECU, and I guess the throttle body is the same??
Thanks
Mark

The BOB has different cams with a tad more lift and it obviously has different heads and a different chainset. The intake manifolds can't be swopped over as the intakes on the heads are different from BOA to BOB. You can fit BOB cams into BOA heads and that's a popular mod. I cast a conversion plate for the BOA onto which the BOB intake can be fitted but it raises everything by an inch or so. The BOB also uses VIS. HTH.
