Windscreen

Afternoon all, quick question, has got any feedback regarding National windscreens. I have a quote from them but just wondered what experience anybody might have had.

I suspect it depends more on the skill of your individual fitter, than what chain he works for. Never had the windscreen replaced though so can't say. I know somebody else with an S who discovered that TVR trimmed the interior BEFORE fitting the screen, so you couldn't get the screen out again without damaging the interior trim.

I had the screen in my S3c replaced on insurance by a national chain in Reading and they did a perfect job.

I had mine done by mobile windscreens. They did a great job. They sent an experienced fitter from their Southampton branch to Reading branch, where my car was, to do the job.

The Director of Mobile Windscreens (530dTPhil I think) sometimes posts on Pistonheads. He sorted it for me
