Cyprus in March……….
Discussion
……………anyone been at this time of year and know what the weather is like. From the reviews I have read it does not look to be that great but I wanted a view from anyone who has actually got first hand experience.
We have the opportunity to take up a villa in March (at a very good price)but quite frankly if I can’t use the pool and lounge in the sun I don’t really see the point.
Any personal experiences of the weather at that time would be most welcome!

From memory its cool but sunny. It can rain very heavy and the thunder lightening is scary, saw a box transit that was just a chassis and melted ally/wheels after it had been struck.
Locals will still have their sweaters and long trews on. Compared to here at the same time it will likely feel warm but not hot. Its been a fair few years since I was there as the "motorway" hadnt got far past episkopi and is now all the way to pathos? apparently.
As to night life ? limasol wasnt the most lively at that time of year but heroes square was open.... hth

Where is this Villa going to be? I've visited Cyprus several times and love the place. Warm weather, Greek cooking (
) and the hospitality is top notch. Paphos seems to be descending further into hell every time I visit, but many of the villages along the western coast (especially the area around Polis) are lovely. Don't know much about the eastern areas or the Turkish controlled bit.
