Bonnet holes.

I have a hole where the old battery cutout use to be, plus a 600mm x 200mm hole just before the windscreen, are they ok to be open or do then need to have mesh over them.

All the mesh does is make it look pretty and stop lumps of rubber getting in. Better to have it in but I wouldn't have thought it was vital. I have the same battery cut off hole in my bonnet and there is no mesh in that.

It was still a fun day if a bit tiring , took me back a few years.

Think you need to slow down a bit on the car as almost there - well mechanically

Get a bit mmore organised with a few more tools and some more time planning the little things, should then be a goodun

You seemed to have enjoyed yourself and still smiling at the end of the day so well done on getting so far.
