Well I DON'T BELEEEEEEEEEEEEVE IT !

Just been out for a two hour hoon in glorious sunshine ! driving

Cut through York centre, flash exotica (cars and women) everywhere, and of course all totally ignored by the viewing public in favour of my grumbling roaring and howling Wedge. hehe

I love my hooligan. cloud9

Don't know what the weather is like in Geordieland, but I ruled out the BNG because of the horrendous forecast...bugger. banghead

You ended up missing a great day out Graham

It was quite wet then very wet on the way up, but pretty much like Chatsworth cleared up
for the righteous and gave us a really good afternoon and ride back with the top down.

There was 11 of us from the West Yorkshire area who joined the Tees Valley lot and others (about 20+TVRs)
at Scotch Corner for a very eventful rumble all the way into Newcastle

Great fun and fantastic day out (thanks to Duncan RO for TVTVRCC for the rumble)

Even the sight of my 18 year old 400SE leading 10 other rather nice and noisey TVRs up the A1
was a sight to bring tears to the eyes and a lump in the throat (yes I said throat!!!!)

Will post pics as soon as I can

Cheers beer

Popped to Brans in the rain on Sunday, nearly lost it on the M25 going through standing water.
Fortunatly racing was dry. Forgot how fast those Tuscans go round a circuit and still make a superb noise - specially when your in pit lane smile

Any other Wedgers make it ?

Roll Call of Wedgers at BNG

Yours truly's 400SE with the Sage Gateshead in background

Carob Worthy Winner of best Wedge

Broadside's Lovely sounding 450SE

Dixie Babes 350i looking good after lots spent after Wedgefest (non that you can see)

Sorry don't know whos this was - but another nice Wedge

I thought 5 Wedges wasn't a good turn out, but looking on the bright side
5 out of about 100 there on the Sunday wasn't too bad, and certainly shows
we are a more hardy bunch that some other "fair weather sailors"

Richard

PS another one of mine to finish with

And the whole car park early on

All pics are here if interested

Great pictures Richard ! smile

I'm glad you had a good weekend, but sad to say, I do not enjoy driving the old girl in the wet or even the slightly damp. frown

Added to that, I'm an unsociable miserable old tt at the best of times. hehe

I was intending to go down to Brands and Santa Pod, as I do enjoy my motorsport, but ruled that out too.

I saw your car at Harewood a couple of weeks back, and it really is a credit to you. Mine is a bit of an old bruiser, but sound in wind and limb...bit like me. hehe

If I can remember, I'll head over to the North Yorks meet this Thursday, as long as I don't have to work too late. Last time I couldn't get in the car park !

Thanks for the kind words Graham

I won't be able to get over to the N Yorks meet on Thursday
as I am running the West Yorkshire run out on Wednesday night
and have just got back from the PH meet at Driglington

Hope to catch up with you soon tho'

Cheers

Richard
