Bright Idea in Obscurity

Thanks to reader Gareth Boote and his wife who have given us evidence of the new spirit of fair play being exhibited by our police forces. Taking on board the Government's requirements for speed cameras to be highly visible Lncashire police have painted this camera yellow as instructed.

Gareth and his wife spotted the camera on the M6 between Preston and Wigan.The thing is, they only just spotted it because it's positioned behind a bridge. Come on plod - play fair!

Yes well they need the money in Wigan, perhaps they will spend it on trying to find a cure for rickets.
