starting tips

I am sure you guys are well aware about my t350.
Anyway time to start her up after 2 months, she will fire once then nothing. wait a while and she will do the same.
I have stopped as while familar with "normal" cars, i dont wont to do any damage to her.
So is it just basically checking my plugs arnt caked in c**p etc and try again?
I just do not wont to cause damage to that 6 speed.
Any opinions will be welcomed once again.
I have just trawled through hundreds of posts and Iam wondering the fuel pump is kicking in?
People say you can hear it priming?...would a good test be too remove the relay and se if there is a change in noises?????????

Not sure if this will help but after a period of non-use I always find keeping the throttle pressed in a couple of inches prior to startup helps to get it going.

mostly a bit of throttle, then once started keep it there a tiny bit at 1500rpm until it settles down...seems to get worse the longer it goes without use ....use em everyday and they are fine
