Wii - what's worth getting?
Discussion
Boom blox is great! It's a physics-based puzzler where you get to blow things up! Has distinct jenga-style gameplay as well.
Mario Galaxy is gorgeous to behold, pure fun.
Metroid Corruption is really good if you like atmospheric shooters, the controls are brilliant compared to halo etc etc.

And don't forget the virtual console - loads of classic SNES and Megadrive, etc. games just a download (and a few quid) away. I reckon I spend as much time playing old games as I do the new stuff.
Also recommend House of the Dead and Ghost Squad, if you like zapper games. Each can be had for about £10.

Register your games / console on Club Ninetendo, then convert the stars to Wii points... and download some more stuff for no additional cost.

2nd Boom Blox, pretty good solo play with some nice puzzles, but throw another player or 3 into the mix (and some beers if thats what yeah fancy) and its a blast.

Id also say the same about ravin' rabbids 2, absolutely superb fun with 4 players.
Brain Academy is fun but other players get bored when the brainy ones wins all the time

Mario Galaxy is probably the best single player game on the Wii.
