Discussion
Whats every ones opinions on having a mini shot blasted?
i have been nitromorsing and sanding my mini for ages now and it is taking forever and im starting to lose hope with getting it done and so was wondering what every ones opionions are of having this done or whether i should keep at it the way i am?
i am wanting to get the mini right back to bare metal and start again

Have you heard of baking soda blastic, much gentler than shot blasting, but just as effective.

When my grandson was doing the Nitromors bit I told him that this was a demonstration of his commitment t the project. It took just over 50 hours work to completely strip the external surfaces, rub down, wash off with hot soapy water, dry all the seams with a hair dryer and etch prime. It was worth it, though.
Ive only just finished all the welding. I do intend to strip the rest of the paint of with these http://tinyurl.com/3d7vv8
I have just used normal primer for the top of the car and used this on the underside painted on with a brush.
