Memory cards for Nikon D80?

As it says in the heading. Am I right in thinking that some cards arefaster than others (i.e. quicker continuous shooting) and if so how do I know which ones are better in this respect?
Also what's the difference between SD and SDHC cards?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but other than capacity I never realised there was so much to know about these cards.

I use 133x cards in mine. SanDisk Extreme III and a cheap clone. Wouldn't go larger than 2GB in case one fails - you'll loose too many shots.

Just buy Sandisk Extreme III cards of whatever capacity you need and don't worry about the details...

Excellent. That saves me asking the next question of which brand to go for, just where to get one? Will have a nose on fleabay.

Already considered buying two or three 'smaller' crds rather than a single larger one for the reasons you state.
