As for speed, used to do a bit of this ( NOTHING like that though ) they would be cracking on for 40-50mph when they are properly streamlined.

Specially designed down hill boards, better bearings up to the job, long old school surf board style deck, trucks set at the front and rear of board ( no ollies on those boards, why they slow down with their foot and not sliding the board on the back kick up, like "normal" skateboards ), wide axles for stablity and wide wheels as well.
