Has anyone here had experience of hiring temporary Exhibition Staff?

I have had quotes for £650 for 4 days work 9-5, anyone know of a decent agency, or better yet know of someone?
The event is in harrogate.

Just the one person, if anyone here can talk like there's no tomorrow, is friendly and has some experience in this kind of work, or even in sales, they should do the trick.

No technical knowlege needed either.

You fascinate me Mr Moose.

I thought that I was pretty good at turning my hand (and head) to any business, but almost every day someone posts here needing something or other and you pitch an 'I can do that for you' post back.

Are you the Chairman of Capita or just the most resourceful fellow on the globe?

I take my hat of to you, whatever the answer (naturally, I have no idea how many offers you subsequently fill)

this is true, but i have met alot of people in my travels around the country and know alot of people in a lot of roles etc, so dont mind helping out if i can be of any service.

what pisses me off is when i try to help someone - send a PM or whatever, and never get anything back. surprisingly common actually... it would be nice to even get a thanks but no thanks.

oh well..

Not at all - but they always have a gang of people ready to turn their hand to absolutely anything.

The real question is are you looking for eye candy or someone intelligent enough to know how best to take and direct an enquiry? The two are not mutually exclusive.

bit of both to be fair, haven't found someone yet, I think we may be able to get away with us as we are.
