Gransport Help - Decisions Decisions!
Discussion
So I think that I have found myself a potential Gransport to purchase.
A daft question , but did they all come with Skyhook suspension!
It is a 2007 car - I believe that they came as standard with most options - it has
Full Leather
Leather headlining
Heated / Memory / Electric Seats
Xeon Lights
Park Distance Sensors
Stereo Upgrade
Folding Mirrors
Balance of Warranty
Had the 1st Service
HPI Clear
They will provide a clutch wear report and the car has a NavTrak ADR fitted (are these any good?)
Anything else that I should be looking at or missed?

Nav Trak is brilliant. I have forgotten to have the transponder on me a couple of times and started the engine to defrost the windows. I got a phonecall only a few mins later informing me that the engine was running. As for the GS - I lusted after one but was put off by the fragile feel of the car. Many things appeal about it though, character, looks, sound and just the fact that they are slightly left field in a sea of AMGs and M series etc. Just make sure the warranty is a good one.

Yup, the navtrak is great.. - though it's fitted, it'll cost you 800 quid a year to sign up & have it running. (just in case you didn't realise). re feeling fragile, I can't say that's been my experience. I came from a well screwed together Audi S4 & I've not noticed any different. I've put a good few thousand miles on mine now, including a 3 week/3000 mile yomp across europe a few weeks ago - never missed a beat, in fact I've had nothing go wrong in a year's ownership & it's actually been far cheaper to run than the S4 - that's including tyres!

Thanks for your replies. It's a June 2007 Car so has the balance of the 3 years manufacturers warranty remaining - so I have a saftey net!
Didn't realise teh NAV trak was £800 per year - explains why the insurance is a lot cheaper than I expected!
The two I've driven have seemed very different an 06 which was solid and an 07 which didn't quite feel on the mark. I've driven a couple of 997's and I think that as the Gransport has nearly two years warranty left the heart will rule the head on this occasion! I also think that I have managed to get it for a good price

You should check this figure. Just pulled out the documents and I paid £559 for a 3 year subscription last year. This was for Cobratrak5, which is I believe the best they do. Edited by 456mgt on Tuesday 9th September 08:34
Go for the purchase. you will not regret it.
I bought mine from new and have not had any regrets in buying it. Specced it up to my taste and have a car that can get the family in (in comfort) if required plus gives me all the enjoyment of driving within what is safe on todays's UK roads.
I have currently got mine for sale on Autotrader and the only reason I have done this is that I am going into a Grantourismo S.
I am committed to the marque!!!!

navtrak costs about 700 quid a year - fact! I'm not sure its worth it (though I coughed up anyway)....
as for being fragile - there's no way anyone can claim these cars are as well screwed together as a say a 911 (though mechanically they seem pretty solid). But thats missing the point - thats not what you're buying it for - my 911 seemed so "dull" after the first GS I test drove...
