Series 2 E Type Roadster

Hi, I am interested in converting my Series 2 "E Type" 4.2 Ltre Roadster to a 5 speed gearbox. Does anybody have any advice for me as regard to the best to fit. I would want the gear stick to be in the same position as the original and do not want to cut the floor about.

You'll get a lot more help on one of the jag specific forums, i find for e type info the best is at jag-lovers.com

I cant help specifically, I thing the ZF is a common swap, check out the e type fabs website, they do a 5 speeder now.
