A little bird tells me that Aston are preparing to support dealers bidding on used Astons (as a trade-in) to the tune of up to £10K.

This is apparently for existing "loyal" customers.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Given that August sales are down -67% it wouldn't surprise me!

To answer my own question (best way sometimes!), the answer is yes.

There can't be many others (probably sensible folk) in the process of buying a new 4.7 or this may have got a little more air time.smile

I doubt dealers are advertising it in the local paper, but sure, if you go in for a trade in, you will get a "good price" ...considering ive been offered trade value of £35K for my Jan 06 Vantage and then getting offered £45K for it from a dealer against a new one...seems perfectly normal really, except rather than the dealer footing the bill AM are helping the dealers out wink

Having seen the paperwork from Aston, it's not quite as simple as that.
