Hello everyone,

Having a quick look at the autotrader search engine it appears that Imola Red and grey are, well not so much rare but in shorter supply compared with the plentyful Black & Silver, with blue and yellow trailing behind at about 50% less in numbers than black and silver.

Obviously sales of black and silver would indicate that these were the popular colours at the time, having done the search based on 2002 - 2003 models.
I,m a recent proud owner of a 2002 M3 (Imola Red) yes thats my fav. colour

The big question is:-

Whats your favourite colour of e46 M3 now at this present time.

Shirley it is a matter of personal taste?

Personally I think Laguna Seca blue is awesome...

...but plenty obviously hate it as it's such a rare sight.

I recall seeing one on the AUC site a while back with kiwi leather. a bit of a carcrash on the inside.

I love Phoenix yellow, especially on a car with the 19" wheels.

I once saw what I assume is an individual colour - don't know what it's called but was metallic Grey/Bronze. Sounds awful but it looked lovely.

i have an individual one for sale that is not too different to what you describe. Its called individual silver. Like you say when i describe it too people they turn their nose up, and when i take pictures it just looks dark silver - but in the flesh its an awesome colour.

My personal favourite - its got to be estoril blue surely

I like them in most colours. I like the blue effect given by carbon black, but there's just too many of them around. I like Pheonix and LSB (both rare!) but my personal fave is Imola. I think the E46 looks nice in it and the E36...well...just incredible.

Silverstone blue looks good, as does Imola Red and Laguna Seca Blue.

I had same dilemma, lots of silver and blacks, all the greys id seen were red interiors, but bit to much to be fair, but I found a Grey with Black Leather and Silver Trim in the end, and very happy. It ended up being my favourite colour, The Yellows are cool, but the resale, and wife moaning took me away from them. The Greys a stealth colour, and doesn’t show too much dirt.

Looks v cool when the sun drops ;0)
