Waxoil - removal of??

I had my chassis waxoiled a couple of years back. I have since heard (whether correct or not, I don't know ) that this can actually mask any potential 'issues' with the chassis.

How do you go about removing waxoil - even if only to be able to inspect the condition of the chassis?

Wallpaper scraper and white spirit. And goggles and a mask. Unless you like eating it and digging it out of your eyes!

eta: stick some gaffer tape over the scraper or you'll risk chipping the paint.

If the chassis was sound before it was Waxoyled I imagine it will still be OK.

Id agree with spray on white spirit and let it soak before you wipe it off and Cat litter is good for absorbing the drips uder the car !
