Help I need a VP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Well now that the excitement of our Euro tour has finished some of you have asked me why we don't have a Vice President and its a very good question, because at 56 I may well need some help.
As El Pres my duties are mainly to post out info, oversee the website (thanks Neil) and be the central point of contact for events and other clubs, over the years I have made many contacts and have attended many events but always promoting the VCA, its is one central flag that all of us can follow, as a UK club is pointless with so few vehicles in the country.
So I would like you to come up with some names yours or someone elses
I was thinking of RT/Dave or V1per as the most logical choices but lets all put our heads together on this.
This post will have...........pleasure,pain and laughter so its worth it.

Personally speaking, I think this it is a great idea for Paul to have some support, and a Club Vice President who can actively provide any support that Paul may require, and help with organising things like the Germany trip is a great idea.
I know my name has been mentioned above, and I am happy to assist should that be the general consensus of opinion, but as I have said before, I have only been around for a couple of years and there are other people who have been around longer who may well also wish to assist, and should be considered, Baz is an obvious choice, as is Mitch, Neil or Phil Eaton, and if we are really struggling, then there is also Richard.

Job title Vice presidentResponsibility’s.
To organize trips that fulfill every aspect and wishes of fellow Viper club members.
When let down by others e.g. parking on grass you must arrive early and lay appropriate covering to insure that the under side of our cars remain clean, stop the rain and remove any dark clouds, arrange plenty of trophy’s for one of our members, at all times smile and answer phone calls 24-7

I have noticed a lot of people have posted over the last few days but not many on this topic....
If people do not want to put names up on the public board maybe just drop a mail to Paul .....
Just a thought.......
As a relative newcomer to this group my experience is limited so I'll struggle to offer support in an official capacity. If people do not want to put names up on the public board maybe just drop a mail to Paul .....

That doesn't mean I'm incapable of contributing so if there's anything I can do to "help share the workload" please include me!

Having caught up with this thread I think either Baz, Dave or Mitch would make excellent and popular VPs. If they are unable to do, I would be happy to put my name in the hat.No problem if the popular vote is for somebody else, more than happy to support the club in what ever capacity.
