1st Race Pictures
Discussion
Thanks to Paul and my friend Alan, for helping and take some pictures.
finally got the car finished enough to take part, has a few minor problem that stopped me finishing the races.
but was fun and good experience, next time I'll do better, and at least now I know score.
Hope Paul don't mind me posting the link to his pictures.

Me too. I was between wedges at the time, one being serviced the other for sale.

Sounds like a good 1st effort, well done for having the b*lls to do this.

No doubt more of us will get down to watch or even help out..if needed.

no problem,
Hopefully there will be plenty more, and the car will be fully sorted, this year is mainly a test now to get it all sorted for next year.
Some times you have to just jump in a do it, esp with something like this, else your never do it.
I've also tried not to go broke by just chucking money at problems. and also currently not worrying about what it looks like.
once I'm happy with the car I will get the body work sorted. I got a few plans for some body mods also, so I can fit 16" Tuscan wheels, as we found out on Sunday they don't quite fit.
Want to get it fully tuned on a rolling road and do a test/track day before I race again.

Sounds like last Saturday.
Did not get in till 2am, then up at 6am to fit the doors and sills.
Need to replace all the cable ties with bolt's

I'm still not fully recovered. better than monday when I was like a zombie.
Hopefully I have more time to say hi to visitors next time.
Well done Leigh,
The car wasn't quite finsihed, but you made the right decision to get out on the grid this year - its a good way to tell you what you still need to do.
Oulton is 11th October and you still have close on 4 weeks to do some minor jobs and shake down work before then. Be good to have another class C car to compete with.
Cheers John
