Hopefully it will stop him from doing it again

I really dont see the point in doing that sorta stuff. Its not really that impressive (except to maybe the under 12's) and it f**ks your car up! (or at least cant do it any good)

I thought the BIB liked doughnuts- perhaps if he'd shared it he wouldn't be in trouble

Last time I did a donut it was in (someone else's) Rangie in a field....what a top laugh...

I suppose it wasn't a "public" place thank goodness.

Me too! Only a Pug 205 diesel aided by the handbrake but still a right laugh Scruff and Dan in the passenger seats. Grass and dust flew everywhere. Unfortunately it was warm and the windows were down. When we came to rest it was cough.. cough.. spit bit of grass out.. cough..

I don't think they were impressed

How's about if you've just bought a powerful RWD car and want to explore handling characteristics, or you are a new driver and want to see how you car will react to slippery road surfaces?

Or they could just be muppets.

More to the point, and with all due respect, I see people doing things every day of my life that I think is either pointless or that I wouldn't be caught dead doing. But I don't think it should be a reason to legislate or even sneer at.

Live and let live, if it turns their burner up whats the harm. They could always be robbing some poor old corner store to feed their drug habit?

Indeed - was it in fact 'dangerous' to anyone?
If not what next, a NIP for stepping on the cracks in the pavement?

Stuck on for doing a doughnut in an empty grass park?

Hmm, forgive me Graham, seems a little harsh.

Perchance, it wasn't midday and in the childrens play area was it.
There must be a little more to it.......
Mike.

from what i gather the boyz n girlz used to hang around there a lot in their lax power/drift club motaz and the nimbys didnt like it and complained . so plod staked the place out to catch them doing anything anti social FFS, hardly a hangin offence, and if the little kiddies were out at that time on a thursday night then they were probably flogging crack....

anyway the case was ajourned for some reason... longer for me to take the piss i suppose...

one point though, what ever happened to tolerance, i see a lot of things that are point less to me, fishing, footbal for instance but i dont shout for them to be banned ....

Tolerance is a good point. Most street pc's would probably tolerated the 1 doughnut in an empty area, maybe even issued a
"Nice doughnut sir, maybe not the best place, off you go...."

And off goes the doughnut boy....happy....probably with a Hort1.

An adjournment generally means either the paperwork not in order, more evidence, or hopefully for your mate, the cps can't be arsed.

Did your mate have a baseball cap on?

if it was anything like it is around here. you get large groups of laxers 20/30 + all with their sterios pumping. doing burnouts and handbrake turns.

all this till 3/4 in the morning. with this every night, its little wonder the locals have no tolerance.

its just a pitty when people like your mate get tarred with the same brush
