Bigger battery?
Discussion
[quote=glow worm]Take care, some of the Tuscan fire problems way well be down to replacement batteries shorting on chassis. The exhaust is also close and it relies on a rubber/foam insulation strip.[/quote
I think this chap means bigger in "amp hour" and not size of the battery, same size amp would be ok.

Mine was almost the same ie almost dead and a type 069 Yuasa but seemed to be 570cca rating
Just managed to fit a type 086 which is 72ah but 680cca rated
Got it from a local car spares place for about £70
It needed a bit of trimming around the bottom flangy bits to make
it fit and a new bracket. I also decided to trim the upper engine mount
bolt end by about 5mm to make it a little easier to slot in
Works a treat and now starts better than new
