Le mans 2009 - supercar hire?
Discussion
looking at organising my first trip for next year , could anyone tell me the best place or a company that does tailor made packages for the trip, looking at hiring a lamborghini gallardo/murci or a f430 for 4/5 days, local to me would be good but not essential, i am in south yorks
thanks
thanks
Hope you've got deep pockets. You'd be looking at 600-1000 per day plus with most supercar hire you only get 100 miles/day included whereafter it's about £4 per mile so you're looking at a bonkers expense for a week. If you could afford to blow that kind of cash I'd think about buying my own!

thanks for reply, i know its expensive i,m looking at £4000 max on hire for the trip
Not worth it IMO. You spend too much time at the track watching racing, or burning sausages or drinking beer to make the proper use of the car.On the other hand, if you can afford it - I'd hire the car at a different time and spend a week driving around Europe in it. Much better value for money.
Id also be very carefull.
I do have an associate who does this for a living, he has 14 supercars and hires them out. If you want details PM me.
Its not what it seems at all, they really are not that good!!!
Also look at the small print, a lot of companies will charge you 10% of the vehicles capital value in the event of an accident. On a 150-200k car thats a lot on top of your 4k budget.
Stick with the fire engine or reliant - more fun and everyone wont think your a t
