Hi,
Is TVR Power the only place that I can buy the ECU chip from ?

If you have the chip do you have any feedback ? Good or Bad...

I have one and it's definitely increased the power in conjunction with their sports cats. My car does feel even quicker but it was far from slow before so difficult to tell in some respects. However, as mentioned I had no problem keeping up with a V10 M5 up to 140 (kmh naturally).

If you can, a bespoke map is the way to go. It means more time on the dyno and extra cost (quite a bit too) but it's the norm with motorbike tuning and the only way to optimise your car. However mine could do with a bit more work around the tickover area. All the time was spent optimising it for flat out operation and it's now less happy ticking over. A fairly small matter but there you are.

Andy, my car fitted with the NTEL decat pipes was used by TVR Power and John Ravenscroft to writer their decat chip. So that chip is matched to my pipes. The gains were staggering. I got an additional 28 BHP and 50lbft of torque.

Power figures are at the wheels

Graphs are here before dacat and chip and after

NTEL is your decat chip as done by TVR Power and JR for your Tuscan S engine?

Whitey,
NTEL has a Standard 4.0 Tuscan. That is what Powers remap is based on.

NTEL is unsure if power do a remap for the 'S' version. Please thing is to call Power and speak with Dom.

cheers mills24, I thought NTELs car looked like a S from his profile, but thought it was the standard 4.0 that he had and that Power mapped for the decats.

I had a decat chip supplied by Power in 06 but it was unsuitable for my S spec engine and so I have the last factory S/Saggyarse map that makes a nice curve and bhp on my engine.

I would like it remapped but the gains will be only about 5%, so will keep it in the piggy bank for the next special engine holiday or transplant!

Hi mate. You can be forgiven for thinking my car is an "S" .It is actually a standard 4.0L but with all the "S" splitters and body syling. I believe it was the only one ever done by the factory.

As far as I know power don't do a chip for the "S". Not sure of the reason though.
