C`mon guys lets have a bit of a guessing game!
The latest of a bunch of RHD 993 RS`s has just been listed as "coming soon" by Paragon, but no price!

A Guards Red RHD 96(N) car with 26K miles and the RSR spoilers. Looks like its got all the bits!
Bearing in mind the recent ones on sale with Gmund and Autoclassica.
What they gonna ask for this baby?

My guess is that it will be well into the £60K`s!
Maybe even as much as £62-63K. Its a shame because, its RHD, appears to be in VGC and with that low milage its unlikely to be seen out very much.
It will probably go into a heated garage to sit and appreciate (in value) and while we all use our cars, we will just boost the value of these extinct beasts as they become more and more rare.
I eagerly await its price, but am conditioned to accept the fact that, the gulf between my funds and cars like this, is unfortunatly growing...

Having owned a RHD 993rs from 7800 for four years and 15000 miles I can understand why these cars are so revered. They are cars that combine suitability for road use with savage performance on the track, unlike the 964rs. My engine was completely standard apart from Ninemeisters patented cam timing mod and most of the 15,000 miles I racked up were on track. 7 Wheeltorque Nurburgring and Spa Trips, maybe 35 track days in the UK. Blew just about everything away. Won't run out of brakes like a GT3 either. Never put any oil in it between services!! Sold it to buy a 996GT2 but I've now gone back to an 'old school' car in a 964 rs clubsport with some engine mods. I dont think I'll ever get over letting the 993rs go though, taught me so much about driving. It's just a shame most people don't use them and wrap them up in cotton wool - What a waste.
Great words John. I think that you may represent a breed that is rapidly leaving the true Porsche driving clan. You used a RHD 993RS for the purpose that it was made...Good Man!
I beleive that the rarity of the RHD versions has (or will)take away most of the low to mid-milage examples, leaving the real enthusiasts to take to the track in their LHD cars to enjoy such a great car. Its all stupid because the things were designed as LHD cars, its only us Brits that demand to sit on the other side!
I`ve owned both RHD and LHD cars and to be honest, its only a daily driver that becomes a bit tedious if you sit on the left.
I just wish that I had that the chance to own (and properly run)a 993RS. I have to accept that, for the immediate future I will continue to gradually modify my 993C2. It will never be anywhere near a real RS, but hell, its becoming more fun with each modification and upgrade.

I echo 993rsr's comments entirely. Have had a LHD 993RS for about 1 1/2 years and it is a fantastic car. Have done 20 track days in it and this year at service time it needed absolutely nothing changed (other than tyres...

Was at Bedford on Saturday and it is just so much fun to drive - not so fast you scare yourself silly, but still one of the fastest cars you can "arrive and drive" (compared with a radical or r500 which arrive on trailers). Very adjustable on the limit. Easy to change anti roll bars (changed setting on the rear twice on Saturday). So much fun...! I'm probably boring people on this forum with all this ranting, but I'll never sell my RS...

When you see a 964/993rs driven well on track, it's down to the driver not the aerodynamic driver aids of the Radical mob! These cars represent the purest most undiluted driving sensations available and allow your driving skills to evolve over time - The more you put in the more you get out! Plus you can drive them to Sainsburys for the weekly shopping run - try that in a Radical or Caterham!
