basically, ive been thinking of getting a tattoo for a looong long time now.

im after something tribal to go between my shoulder blades, now ive googled but never found any decent sites. well nothing professinal looking anyways.

im good with pencil and paper, but i need something just to fuel the idea. so if any of you guys know of any good tattoist sites worth looking at that would be brilliant

cheers

Gathering from what I've read on here before, I think you may have just opened a veritable hornets nest

OP...Don't bother. I was marked many years ago and still regret it frown

I see a lot of chavs in the pub with tatoos of naked ladies on their arms so going with this popular theme and your original tribal idea here are 3 stunners to take to the tatooist, im sure he could work wonders and make you look like the leader of your tribe.

wait 'till you've got alzheimer's, it'll give you no end of daily joy and surprise...

either that, or get some numbers on your arm and pretend you survived a war

i still like the idea of a gecko, and that was 25 years ago.

i dabbled with Buddhism,, still like the stuff but even Ganesh might have faded by now...

edited to say, damn formatting...!

edit me and look...

There have been many arguments on here about tattoos. Some people hate them and do nothing but sg them off spouting about how you will regret it and how they will look crap when you are 90.

Firstly, pick something that means something to you, something with meaning rather than just a squiggle.

Secondly, If at 90 years of age all you have to worry about is how your old tattoos look then fair play.

I have many tattoos, and dont regret any of them at all, because I can look at each one and they have meaning or remind me of a part of my life. An example, I have my family coat of arms at the top of my right arm. Everybody approaches me asking me what football club the shield is for. These people that ask me this are probably the narrow minded people off here who shout about how tattoos are the work of the devil. Just because it looks like a football badge people automatically presume thats what it is. I know what my tattoo is, what it means, and what it represents, and im proud to wear it. If people dont like it then dont look!

You do what you want mate, just think long and hard about whether you can live with it for the rest of your life... Because that is exactly what you will have to do.
