key remote?

my car has been in the bodyshop for 4 months nearly and the key fob has stopped working. battery has been off for a while, will this cause the key to go out of sync if so how do i get it to work again?

You should be able to open the door still, and as far as I know, the key gets charged when it is in the ignition lock.

panic over, the nuggets at the bodyshop hadnt realised the os door lock motor aint working.

Just bent mine, don't even know if it's repairable yet, but If so I'd hope it wouldn't take that long!!

As for the key fob, pretty sure it's got a battery in.. Only BM's and stuff that automatically charge when in the ignition..

minor rear end shunt but fookin original bodyshop fooked me around waiting on parts allegedly then went bust half way through the job. good news is she is being released from her dusty prison next thursday with a full swissvax detail thrown into the mix
