Finest spots in London to visit?
Discussion
Doing a short trip to London and would be grateful for any recommendations as to where are the finer parts worth visiting for shopping, eating and people watching (especially the female variety!)
eg. Kings Road,Bond Street, Knightsbridge - anywhere else?
I know there are some people on here who have excellent taste as they have given good tips in the past for hotels and restaurants so I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Hi Rich,
Sloane Street in Knightsbridge houses all the 'black label' designer shops and Harvey Nicks... Of course, Harrods is just around the corner...
Bond St, indeed and South Molton St (the roads just off B.St) Saville Row.
Edgeware Raod sometimes has some nice cars on it - and take a drive pas eth Dorchester - there's nearly *always* something interesting outside! Drive around the back of Harrods too. Sloane Square etc etc etc
The London Eye looks good at night.
If you can get out there, Bluewater is one of the better (and nicer) shopping centres just outside London (Thurrock's Lakeside is like a council estate by comparison!)
I'll add any additional thoughts / ideas as I have them!

Dr Fish thanks for the reply......still thinking about a Diablo to join the Esprit!
In fact I may go to Gaydon Sunday morning to Italian car show on the way to London.
Thats great information thank you....if there is anymore let me have it......
I often go to Kensington but the High Street is a bit dissapointing so let me know of any gems please. Always enjoy the Kings Road but I need local knowledge to guide me to the best spots.......
