One of the choices on my wife's company car list (she has to choose one of the current fleet before she can choose a new one) is a 56 plate Mondeo Zetec 2.0 TDCi. I'm having trouble working out what the engine power is on this car, as a couple of websites I've looked at suggest that the engine could be as little as 90ps eek for some 2.0 TDCi engines in post '04 Mondeos, but the Ford website for new Mondeos has them all at 140ps. I have been unable to confirm what is likely in a 56 model. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

I think only the LX had the 89ps engine so should be either 115ps or the 130ps.
If it's not listed theres know way to know without looking for the sticker on the side of the engine or looking up the reg on ford etis.

The smallest diesel engine available for the MK4 Mondeos is:

1.8 Duratorq TDCi Diesel
(100 PS)
1753 cc

A 90PS does not exist (UK market anyway).

If you know the reg then PM me with it and I will look it up on the work computer, I work for Ford, but will probably be either 115ps or 130ps. smile

I agree with the above, on a 56 plate, the 2.0TDCi either came in 115 or 130bhp versions
