Gunk there is a "fuel line cleaner" gets rid of carbon deposits...etc..etc.. so, worth a try?
I've heared (albeit a while ago) that carbon deposit can be a good thing at times, i.e. prevent oil leakage and the like.... remembering i'm a mechanical-blonde, but learning more each day (thanks to my Tiv) i may be utterly wrong..
so, should i?

I've used 'gunk' before on my previous car engine bay. Not too sure if I'd brave it for my beloved Chim. Basically pour gunk into a hand held sprayer, liberally coat engine and bay (when cold), adjitate (sp?)heavy soil deposits with a paint brush, leave for 30 mins and hose off. Makes them come up like new BUT like I say I'd be cautious on my Chim.

This gunk goes directly into the fuel tank, it's for cleaning inside the tank and fuel lines...
