Tom Tom One V3 Question

I bought the above from Empire Direct after reading a thread on here. It's great and works well but doesn't have an SD Card slot.

My question is can I get a Western Europe map for this model without killing the machine? I'm a bit of a technical dunce so any advice in plain English please!!

I think you need to get/download TomTom Home on to your PC, sync it up with you unit, then you should be able to download and install the extra maps.

Will the V3 have the capacity for Euro maps if it is a UK version?

no, if it's a v3 uk then it only has 512mb of storage on board.

euro mapping requires 1gb...
