Huge thanks for all the help you guys and gals have given me in my quest to get my car sorted.
Having completely stripped the front dash including removing the fuseboard in the hope to find a fault as to why she wouldnt start; I have eventually found the solution.
Having doubted the new alarm and immobiliser I installed and having removed the immobiliser 3 times!!...it was obvious I had done it correctly in the first place( very easy).
Next I was thinking engine ECU, so off to power I went and they plugged it into a sag and it sprang into life....no worries there.
The ECU had a live feed the fuel pump worked when the relay was bypassed.
Problem was there wasnt any voltage to the "fuel pump coil relay" which activates the switch.
All the relays in the board were brand spanking new.
I had metered everything looking for the problem over a period of 5 days!
Today the answer came, after another restless night( not the missus) of thinking of what it may be, I decided to pop over to torque rvt which is near me with the last thing I could test.....the fuel pump relay.
I had tested it in the workshop- and it did what is was supposed to do so I had no real reason to doubt it.
Having talked to the guy and had a laugh etc at rvt we proceeded to test the relay by means of substitution ( I was still thinking I know the relay is fine).
Well the relay was fine indeed!....however it was the "WRONG ONE".
I know you are thinking how could i have bought the wrong one?........well I had it from a very reputable dealer, and also I rang them up twice to confirm it was correct. I even called another dealer and had them describe the pinout, which matched mine exactly.
Well all is well now, the sound of that fuel pump priming sent my mouth into saliva mode.....I knew it would start as soon as i heard it.
I now know an awful lot about the electronics and alarm etc within the t350 so ask, I may be able to help some of you as you have helped me.
Not sure if there is a moral to this story, but a good one would be" Never take anything for granted".
