i bought a very boring, but practical nissan primera to use for work,its a 02 reg petrol... when i put the headlights on it slows down to limp mode.. if i turn them off its fine how wierd is that!! any solutions...? ill use the holden at night and the primera in the day..

Thats proberbly the best thing you can do with it. Unless there's someone you dislike alot. Christmas is coming ::

It's called Stealth Mode - gets you places quickly without being seen. Turn the lights on and it reverts to a regular primera.
Or think of it as "Kings Road Cruise Mode..."
Cheap fix is to build a time machine, go back to the day you bought it and spend that money instead on a couple of extra tanks of fuel for the Holden!!!
Oops assumed you had a Ro - forgot there are "real" Holdens out there too....
