welcome. If you want noticeably more oomph for reletively little money get a supercharger, I have the same car as yours and it makes a huge difference. Cost is about £5500 if you take it to RapidGB and you'll lose the car for about a week while it's done.
After that you can do as I am (too much is never enough) and get forged internals, new cam and heads. Together, with a free flow exhaust you can expect ~600hp at the wheels. This will cost you about another £6k on top.
Of course you can save money by doing the whole lot at once ~10k for the lot. You should seriously consider decent brakes like the APs as standard ones just aren't up to extra speed.
If you want noticable power increase just get a blower, otherwise you will be disappointed.

Thanks for the replys much appreciated.I`m still recovering after buying the thing so the supercharger will b goin on hold for a bit but i was thinking ì`d have to go down that road.(wormus)That sounds pretty sweet would`nt mind having a look at it.Do induction kits make much of a difference? Hav`nt had much luck trying to source one yet. Was anybody here at ultimate streetcar last month? I noticed a red yute and a black vxr 500 with no driver around. It looked abandoned (shame). Hope the engrish is`nt to bad today. Am only a builder not an engrish tutor.

Yeah, things like "... b doin wi ..." don't go down so well on PH, I believe it's actually in the forum etiquette guide that text lingo is avoided. It doesn't make posts very easy to read.
That aside, welcome to the forum chap. Long live the V8

The v8 ofcourse and i`v loved them since i first seen them on top gear a few years ago.And its comfortable and it looks better and the ladies love them and you dont look like a boy racer. Its all good i`ll need to get a few pics sorted out of both cars if your interested. The skyline was nice though (R32) my bro bought that so i can still drive it when i like not bad.It would help if it never blew up at ultimate street car

lo there glad to see another local owner on here. don't think there's anything happening up here for a while, mostly the Astra guys or Vauxhall Sports Car Club events I go along to and they're running things down for the year though there is talk of another rolling road day before the end of the year.
So what colour did you go for so I know what to keep an eye out for?
