Ordered a water pump and gaskets from Vauxhall over 2 months ago but have heard nothing , has anyone got one or know someone who might have one , mine has finally given up the ghost and had to have the poor thing towed home - how embarrassing .

get it shipped from US - probably quicker and cheaper. I saved 30 quid on the cheapest UK price for the waterpump for my intercooler - nearly 25% and that was paying tax and air freight costs.

My car was back on the road in 5/6 weeks i think it was. You need to call this number to make them get a move on : 0845 090 2051. This is the 'Managing Director's Office at Vauxhall HQ' as they identify themselves. Just talk to any of the girls and they will help.

Also if your car is still under warranty you are entitled to a suitable courtesy car, I got a Vectra VXR.

Thanks for your comments , my car is not under warranty . We have called Monkfish this morning and they think they can get us one by the end of the week hopefully . Needed the car for the weekend to travel to Wessex raceway in Salisbury but have had to go and buy a cheap runaround today just incase .
