passenger seat fault
Discussion
Are these electric seats we are talking about?
Had a similar problem with mine a little while ago... near the front of the seat, you will see coming out of the motor a bar coming out each side of it. (they are actually springs), just make sure that they are in place. You might have to raise the seat, (think you can do that on the passenger side as well), and make sure that the long bar spring is in the right place on into the side of the seat. I know sometimes if someone fiddles under the seat, or moves a map book under the seat, it can knock it out.
Bit hard to explain without pictures...
Can you hear the motor making a noise?

We dont quite have the same problem that your discussing but both driver and passenger seats move forward and backward about an half an inch every time we brake. VX have had it in twice to sort it out and always claim they've done it but they never have.
I had my drivers seat frame replaced when the car was still under warenty its totally cured now ,but the passenger seat is a bit clunky and my warrenty is now run out so im hoping it doesnt get any worse as those seats cost a fortune aparently
