Good value for money !!!

Spent 2 full-on days at Silverstone for the LeMans 1000km race,
had free gin and tonics, courtesy of Audi, got flags ,stickers,and other free
goodies, met some drivers and team members etc etc all for £20 Oh and saw some REAL MOTOR RACING,

OK Bernie 'The Great Fan Robber and Max (the Chuckle brothers !!) beat that for entertainment

yes, I know that now, but what the hell, I also think that The Centre MK was giving away tickets too,but only to ' Single Un-married mothers' fell over tenty push chairs!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I too found out about the free Peugeot offer after the event.

I thought it was a fantastic day out - made the tedious drive home round the M25 worth it. £20 was great value - especially when you take into account that a typical BTCC meeting with set you back £28. Went along with my Dad - even he wasn't grumbling! And the free stuff was almost getting to pre-2000's BTCC levels.

I went to this last year and this year's event blew it away - will definately be going next year.

Bloody great days entertainment and the weather was great to burnt to a cinder on my head. It was worth it just to here that Corvette, what a sound took me straight back to June at LE MANS.

The Lamborghini sounded like tearing calico as it went along the start/finish straight. I was standing opposite the BRDC building and it could heard over everything. The diesels were eerily quiet and SO fast!

Trouble with freebie events is that the lumpen proletariat turn up and block all the best views. Snob? Moi?

Had a great day on Sunday, a freebie for me thanks to Peugeot. Pity the diesels are so quiet, and a good job most of the field are high revving petrols. Corvette sounded great, as did the Lambo and the Aston. Wondered around the circuit, watched from many different places, great motorsport experience. Can't believe there were 53,000 there, traffic seemed relatively light.
