Hi all,
any Midlands wedges going to classic car meet at the Royal Oak at Hockley Heath on October 5th? It's a once a month thing (for the winter period it's first sunday of every month 11am - til 2pm 'ish) it's usually mobbed out with a wide variety of classics & performance motors and usually a couple or more Griffs/Chimeras
Just interested to see if anyone is popping along?
Cheers,
Father Ted ,sharing a cup of tea or five with Mrs Doyle. Craggy Island.

You could trailer it....but get there early ,as it gets absolutely rammed with classics....if you turn up late it would be a bit of a squeeze....a good afternoon if you fancy a pint and chin wag.

Yes Blaine,
come off the M42 at junction 4 , if you are coming from the north take 1st exit left onto A34 towards Hockley Heath (from south it's third exit..) follow A34 through Hockley Heath (about 2 miles from M42) past Jaguar dealer on left (before a small bridge) and a mile or so up from that ,the pub is on the left....if you turn up late you will see loads of cars parked on the verges!!!!
p.s. as my status is 'wedge wannabe' at this moment in time ,i will be with my old man in a 'brooklands green 'JZR ,three wheel kit car !! If you pop up just come and say hello! (remember 11am to 2pm !)

p.s. I would like to announce that Father Ted and Mrs Doyle are now the proud parents of Jenna Louise ,born 24th sept, 1.45pm at 6lb 10 oz....mother and baby fine!

dunno what bishop Brennan will say about this eh Jack?
