Griff Blockage Cleared ... still no joy
Discussion
Having realised that the recent blockage was not a problem with the Griff but a recent intruder onto my driveway in the form of an Immitation Tango'ed Vauxhall.
Shifting the Aussie infiltrator, I tried again today to shift the Mighty Griff.
Key in push red start button fires into life, sounds a little different to usual, not running on all 8 cyliners
Realising I should have known the problem previous selecting one of six gears, I pop it into the first of five this should be better
Needs a little more revs than usual to pull away, but by god does it shift. Must be Clives F's fancy new pipe I thought, or Dave's smooth bore induction pipe.
60 comes up in a shade over 3 seconds, now we're smokin'
Something not quite right when I pulled up into the petrol station, it only took 15 quid to fill her up from empty. I must be getting 30 odd miles per gallon.

What's a man to do ?

Yamaha FZR1000 Exup from the look. Still got 125bhp!! Quick for a Dinosaur
Nice one Jester, spot on !And yes, still held it's own around the TT circuit last year amongst much newer machinery (Ohlins shock, increased fork rake angle and R1/996 brakes helps) Just as quick as the early R1's but would struggle to keep up with the latest generation of hyper bikes, but let's face it on our roads you'd be lucky make any noticeable headway.
Just done a quick power to weight comparison - BHP / KG

FZR - .53
Griff - .29
HSV - .22
Thats's why no matter what I do to either car if I wanna go proper fast it's 2 wheels every time.

Although if I need to go shopping, my choice of trolleys is not too shabby nowadays.
One "happy with his lot" Moose

ps If anything I must have chosen the cars to match the bike as he was here first ( although always dark blue, I must confess to having him sprayed Imperial Blue to match the Griff when a little bit of bodywork needed smartening. Would I be really sad if I confessed to mow wanting to have the wheels painted Tiger Gold to match the HSV ?

Your ASBO is in the post...
Most of my neighbours likethe sound of a V8 ( Or so they say to my face. Good thing really )
Drove the Griff into work today, suffice to say that if cut backs had to be made then the Griff would be the last thing out of the door, just after the wife
