LED replacement bulbs

having recently replaced my dipped beam with Hids, I wanted to change the side and No plate bulbes to LED, mainly for the colour/intensity of the light. I bought some from EBay, but they have not lasted long, the number plate bulbs have been replaced twice in 3 months, which isn't good, and now the side lights have gone off.
I was wondering if any of you guys have swopped for LED and if so where do you get reliable, long lasting bulbs from?

Any help much appreciated.

Do a search on my posts and you'll find some links. I replaced virtually everything except the headlamp bulbs and (so far) no issues.

I got the PIAA ones, lasted for a couple of years before the car went

I've got 1W ones from UltraLEDS - work a charm, been in for about 8-9 months now.

That just summs it up really, no way of knowing what's good or bad out there, and some are mad prices!!!!

How long ago and which ones? I know a few people have had the wrong ones and they've got too hot and died.

I've had a number of pairs... neither have failed I just tried to elimate some flicker with my HIDs, but have deduced the LEDs are not the cause
