Front door repairs - any suggestion
Discussion
Hi there was wondering if anybody could help with a problem.
I have some flats that we have recently built and sold in London but the company who supplied the front doors have gone bust. Some of the doors have a few dinks and scratches in that I have said I will rightly correct. The doors are powder coated a RAL colour and I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way of repairing these without taking the doors off and completely respraying.
I can get photos if this would help but not until tomorrow.
Thanks alot
Joe

Crikes! there's a blast from the past to stir the grey matter!
Years ago I use to work for International Paints Industrial Div- Answer I would give would be to use semi-matt air dry enamel mixed to your RAL formulation and then spray paint.
I don't know the level of damage but I suspect colour match would be a problem even allowing for the correct formulation as there would bound to be a variant - so you either blow the whole door in or localish with air brush. - don't know what H&S would say about spray painting in a block of flats! LOL!
