Stephenson to design P11

I had a quick look around and didn't see anything on this. Sorry if it's a repost. I was surprised to see that Mclaren hired him. He's been involved with some rather controversial designs. Apparently the architecture of the car is settled and they need someone to style it.

I don't know anything about the following website. it's just a quick reference.

I am not sure about this. Quite like some of his work but some of it is awful IMO.

Why can't they use Peter Stevens instead?

Peter Stevens was getting a pretty packet in India or China, the last I heard, May 07.

I met Frank Stephenson when he set a Ferrari project for the MAs at Cov, he was being shown the clay studios, I was about to throw a piece of clay at someone when he popped his head round the door. I looked sheepish and put the piece of clay down.

Stephenson is no Gordon Murray.
