Funny injuries you got as a child??
Discussion
When I was young me and some mates made a ramp, I pedaled down the road as fast as I could and jumped off the ramp, but as I did my feet came off the pedals, I was a small child with a bike that my parents assured me I would "grown into" which resulted in me landing on the crossbar
The pain was bad at the time but very funny for the people watching...
Who else has suffered pain as the result of some over enthusiastic games as a child?

similar. I had a budgie bike and was peddaling for all its worth at a wheel shaped dip in the pavement. The theory being that as I rode through it, it would pop a wheelie. Well instead the front wheel got stuck and flipped me forward off the bike, over the bars and head first into a nice concrete lamp post. Ended up in hospital concussed!
Still got a scar running parallel, so close to the main vein in my right wrist half-way up the lower part of my arm from when I was running from my Super-Soaker armed brothers, and managed to slice it on barbed wire.
Sprained both my ankles as a child on a wooden park; there was a rope-climbing ramp, but the ropes and hooks had been removed... I thought it was a slide = /

I was attacked by a mad cockrel. It sat on my head, and started pecking me, so as any 6 year old girl would, I started screaming and running around flapping my arms
I was told the cockrel was given away, although I did find a pool of blood near the wood shed the next day

Also
- fell into a fishtank....2 ins scar on my knee
- fell off a bolder...huge hole in my head, after I landed on the chuckies
- walked into several glass doors
- sliced off a slither of skin from my thumb, just like the meat slicers you see in Tesco's
- caught my head, fingers, and leg in different car doors

Broke my arm falling out of bed when I was seven. In my defence it was a top bunk and I had a fever. I woke up mid plummet and probably looked like this
This was about a year after my foot was broken my my older sister; she was giving me a piggy back at the time and fell over. We still can't figure out how that one worked...

The mothership slammed the boot down on my hand, YOOOOOOOOOOWCH!!
Gave my friend's younger brother a shoulder-back ride in Primary school, soon as the fat bugger got on my shoulders I fell face first and smacked the floor with an almighty thud, was out of school for the rest of the afternoon with half a red face imprinted with the gravel.

Fell off my bike trying to pull a wheelie and knocked a tooth out. Had a top lip like an inverted soup plate for a while.
Climbed on a rock on the beach and pissed off the top of it, it being vital to climb any prominent feature and piss off the top of it. Slipped on some seaweed and whacked my head on another rock.

Bitten through my finger by a dog whilst I was delivering the Church Newsletter, am now scarred, it was with a friend and her Campanologist Mother.
Gay.
Not me but remember my neighbours Gerbil biting his finger and not letting go, enough that said neighbour whacked Gerbil against the wall until it was quite dead and able to remove critter from his injured digit.

2 accidents spring to mind, out in the vegetable garden with a big fork, someone shouted my name as was about to plung the fork down, was puzzled why it had vanished into my foot and the ground at the same time, found that had a couple of square holes punched into the foot.
Only hurt when being cleaned
other one was being given a dissection kit and find that dissecting a lamp switch when attached to the mains was not good, sort of numbed left arm totally

I almost scalped myself when I was 6 months old by climbing up the telephone wire. The telephone was stuck to a glass table top which wasn't stuck to the legs.
My brother broke both wrists by falling out of the top bunk at 3 in the morning when we were playing catch with a tennis ball. He leant forward to catch the ball, which he missed and carried on going forward.

Way too many stupid injuries from childhood to post here, (still accident prone BTW, wife says that I'm the only person she knows who can injure himself whilst standing still), but....
Playing football on the road outside house when I was about 11, ball landed on top of kerb, went to kick ball, missed and kicked kerb. Result:- one broken toe, only confirmed 2 days later when foot had swollen so much that I couldn't get my shoe on and my mum finally believed that something was wrong and took me to the doctors, (I wasn't mollycoddled as a child, something I am eternally grateful for!).

None of my injuries were particularly spectacular, just the usual cuts and scrapes. Only two of (half note) were a torn open knee from keeping goal in a five a side football match against a player with (longer) rugby studs on his boots and a neat crease down my forehead (brick wall inflicted).
I once watched a mate pick up a 4' angle iron stake which had been hammered in hard on a few occasions by the look of it. The top had been burred right over and was nasty and jagged. My friend held it about a foot down from the top and began spinning round like a hammer thrower. I recalled thinking "If he lets go of that he's going to have to open his hands REALLY quickly or else". Sure enough he ripped both his palms open.
Oh, another mate fell about 60' through a horse chestnut tree while we were conkering. I heard a yell then saw branches shudder in turn as he fell down inside the foliage before bursting out the bottom in a cloud of leaves and hitting the ground where he was peppered with conkers from above. To our disappointment he proved not to be dead so we bundled him into our go-kart built from old prams and wood and dragged him home where we bravely dumped him on the doorstep before ringing the bell and running away (his mum always blamed me). He couldn't remember much except something hitting him on the head causing him to lose his grip.
Ah. That would have been the small log I threw up the tree trying to doslodge conkers then. I never confessed
